The profile settings are divided into the following three sections:

  • Private Information

  • User Interface

  • Time Entires

Private Information

The private information includes core data for each user, such as their first and last name, email address, birthday, and a photo. Instead of a photo, preferences can show the user's initials. Upload a photo of yourself here to help your team identify you more quickly. You can also do this via the external service Gravatar.

Private data includes confidential information, such as bank and insurance details. Enter them here to complete your digital personnel file.

Note: The photo must be in either JGEP or PNG format and no larger than 2 MB.

User Interface

In the user interface, you can set different display modes for the software. This includes the background color of time entries, the timezone, and the language.

Time Entry Background Color

Choose whether you want the colors of the projects or tasks to be displayed for your time entries, or no color at all. The colors help you quickly identify which projects or tasks you are working on.

Timezone

You are not bound to the timezone of your company. Therefore, you can adjust the timezone to your location at any time.

Language

Currently, CoffeeCup is available in two languages: German and English. You can set the output language for your CoffeeCup here.

Time Entries

By default, your currently running time entry is visible in the action bar. You can deactivate the visibility of your time entry in the action bar here.

This section allows you to customize the date and time output formats in the working time tracking. The time format can be displayed in hours and minutes, or decimal. You can also choose between a 12 or 24-hour clock format.
