Manage Tasks

Create and edit expense types, define colors, daily rates and shortcuts

Updated over a week ago

Go into the project board and click on the three dots in the right corner and then on "Manage tasks". Here you can view, edit or create tasks.

Note: Only the "Admin" role has access to the task management.

Metabar

You can simply choose a task via the dropdown, so you don't have to search in the whole task list.

You can create new tasks using the "+" button.

Note: To create tasks you can also use the Quick Create when creating a project.

By default, all active tasks are displayed in the task list. You can also display the archived tasks if you switch on the "Show Archived Items" button.

Task list

All tasks are displayed in the task list. You can also see here if a task is billable by default and if it is automatically added to new projects.

Select the context menu of a single task and you can activate/archive, duplicate or delete it.

Create and edit tasks

With a click on the desired task you get to the editing mask. Here you can adjust general information and settings of the task.

Note: Only the "Admin" role can create new tasks. You can create tasks via the Quick Create in the project management or here via the task management.

Enter a label for the task. A code is automatically generated from this, but you can edit it. Set a color and a default billable hourly rate for this task. For this task you can also add existing tags or create new ones.

In the settings of a task, you can define whether it is billable by default and/or should be automatically added to new projects. If you assign these settings to a task, you will see them in the preview of the task management.

Note: You can also change the billability of an activity again when creating a project.

Tasks are one of the things you can create via quick create when drawing up a new project. If you decide to create tasks that way they will always be always be billed by default. Of course you can change that afterwards by managing the tasks in our task management.
