Updated over a month ago

Important: In order to be able to use easybill invoicing, you need to have an easybill "PLUS" or "BUSINESS" Package.

Connect to easybill

To link your existing easybill account to CoffeeCup, navigate to Settings -> Integrations -> easybill in CoffeeCup and click the "Connect" button.

In the follow video, we will show you the next steps:

Import customers and customer groups from easybill

For smooth billing with easybill, we recommend importing your existing easybill customer data into CoffeeCup. To do so, click on Settings β†’ Integrations β†’ easybill β†’ Settings.

There are two options for importing:

  • import all easybill contacts into CoffeeCup

  • import only easybill contacts of selected groups. Click on the "+" next to the "Select customer group", to import the corresponding customer group from easybill

Attention: Customer groups must already be created in easybill before they can be imported.

Now click on the button "Import Clients from easybill" to start the import from easybill.

When you confirm the following dialog by clicking the "Import Clients from easybill" button, the following actions will be performed:

  • In case a client already exists with the same name within Coffeecup, the client and its contacts will be overwritten by the client information.

  • In case a client does not exist within CoffeeCup, a new client will be created.

  • Projects, time entries, and team data will not be affected by the import.

Attention: We recommend to check and if necessary to adjust the customer names before importing to avoid creating new customers.

After confirming the import, CoffeeCup will show you a summary of all newly created and updated customers.

To check the import, simply click on the "Manage clients" button to switch to the Project & Client-Board. If clients were imported from easybill, a small easybill icon will be visible in the "connections" column.

Disconnecting from easybill

To disconnect your easybill account from CoffeeCup, navigate to settings -> integrations -> easybill and click the "disconnect" button.
