customize your board by using filters, limiting the time period and adjusting the board layout

Updated over a week ago

In the following video we show you how to customize and filter the Project Board.

With the Project Board we offer you an overview of all your projects and customers with the project KPIs at a glance. You can access it by clicking on Clients & Projects in the left-hand menu.

The board displays all customer-specific KPIs. The top line of the board shows a summary of the core KPIs that apply to all projects, such as effort, billable hours, and profitability.

Customize and filter

To find clients or projects, type the name into the search field, or select your client/project from the dropdown list. The list of all clients will be filtered accordingly. Additionally, there is a button located next to the search field to expand all clients or collapse them with one click.

To customize the content of your board, you have the option to use filters and change the displayed data. For example, if you want to see all projects that have a fixed price, the board will be filtered in real-time according to this criteria and adjusted directly in the background.

Save board

To keep the board with the filter options, simply save the board and give it an individual name. You can rename it at any time. The board will be saved with the current filter configurations. If you don't save it, the default board will automatically show up the next time you visit the Project Board.

If you make additional changes on this board, such as using another filter option to display all the fixed price projects in planning or in progress, a purple dot will appear to indicate unsaved changes. Simply save these changes. The purple dot on the board filters serves as a reminder of the filter settings on this board.

Adjust board layout

If you do not want to see all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on your board, simply change the board layout. You can hide columns and change the order of the KPIs.

To do this, click on "Configure board" and then on "Adjust Board Layout".

Limit time range of the displayed data

To get a better overview of your projects, you can limit the time period of displayed data. You can choose any period of time you want to see, with a minimum granularity of one month. To make it clear which values are affected by the chosen time period, those values will be highlighted on the board. The core KPIs across the top will also be updated. The real power of this feature becomes visible when you use it with filters.
