Manage Expense Types

Create and manage third-party costs, flat rates and expense types

Go into the project board and click on the three dots in the right corner and then on "Manage expense types". Here you can view, edit or create expense types.

Note: Only the "Admin" role can create new expense types. You can create tasks via the task management.

Click the "+" button in the metabar for a new expense type.

With a click on the desired expense type you get to the editing mask. Here you can adjust general information and settings of the expense type.

Assign a name for the expense type. Specify a color and an icon. If the expense type is, for example, travel costs, you can enter a fixed amount per kilometer that will be used when assigning it to a project. For this expense type you can also add existing tags or create new ones.

Note: You can define the billability of an expense type when adding it to a project.
