CoffeeCup offers extensive features to create and track project deadlines such as deliverables, deadlines or others. This includes:

The project planning offers the possibility to create, edit, move and delete milestones. In addition, the project planning offers a consolidated overview of all existing milestones in the displayed period.

⚠️ Attention: Milestones can only be managed by users with project management permissions.

In project planning, any number of project milestones can be created for each project. To do this, move the mouse over the project timeline and click on the day on which the milestone is due.

After clicking, a dialog appears in which you can name the milestone and give it an acronym (max. 3 letters). You also have the option to change the date again. This is also possible via drag & drop when the dialog is closed.

Each project milestone is also displayed in the project overview above the timeline as a milestone counter. If two milestones from different projects are on the same day, the number displayed in the overview increases respectively.

If you move the mouse over one of the milestone counters, a tooltip shows you more detailed information about the contained milestones of the day.

Milestones can also be tracked in CoffeeCup outside of project planning.

Within the time tracking, a milestone counter of all projects of an employee is displayed to the left of the day.

Details about the milestones can be displayed via tooltip, similar to the overview in project planning. This function is available for all employees regardless of their role.

With the dashboard module "upcoming events" you can keep track of all upcoming events such as project milestones.

Unlike milestones, project endings are generated automatically by CoffeeCup and do not have to be created separately via project planning.
